HANS CHRISTIAN 43 'Traditional'


A rare opportunity to purchase a classic quality yacht in exceptional condition.

Jolly Swagman has been professionally maintained to the highest standards by a retired shipwright. A recent survey report  and valuation gives her condition as being ‘excellent and well above average throughout’. She is possibly one of the best HC 43T’ s cutters available. Since the report/valuation a further £5000 has been spent on refurbishing the original  hull gelcoat.

She is fitted out both internally and externally to the highest standards her teak interior is virtually in 'as new' condition and has many additions to a standard HC43T added by the current owner. All equipment etc on board is fully functional and in working condition.

She is fully equipped for long distance cruising, with the exception of a single sideband radio and water maker is ready to cruise anywhere in the world.

Hull manufactured in heavy duty laminated GRP with white gelcoat topsides in excellent condition, with teak covered upper strakes.
Deck in heavy duty laminated GRP with white gelcoat, ply inserts for fittings attachment, laid teak side decks and inset panels to coach roof, cockpit fully fitted with teak. All teak decking is original and in excellent condition without any known leaks etc and has been treated with ‘Boracol’ to prevent growth of mould etc.
Hull underwater sections treated for osmosis and epoxy coated.
‘Coppercoat’ semi permanent antifouling with blue boot topping line.
All seacocks/skin fittings  have been replaced with DZR Bronze ball type valves, all piping renewed. All seacocks bonded and connected to 2 no. anodes.
Steering system recent full overhaul including upgrade to stainless steel bearings, new steering cables etc.
